The newly appointed Deputy Chief Commissioner of Sri Lanka Mr. Maithreya Kulkarni, met at the head office of the Janata Liberation Front on last 18th and had a friendly discussion.Mr. Maithreya Kulkarni, who has been working in the Development and Cooperation department of the Indian High Commissioner’s Office for almost two years, is currently taking appointments as the Deputy High Commissioner of India in Sri Lanka.
Here focused on the housing projects started for the people of Sri Lanka as well as other developments and investment activities with Indian cooperation. Deputy High Commissioner also commented on sharing India’s knowledge with Sri Lanka regarding the use of modern technology in waste management in connection with the ‘Clean Sri Lanka’ project being conducted by the Sri Lanka government. Also discussed here the uniqueness of cultural relationships between two countries.
On behalf of Janatha Liberation Front congratulated Mr. Maithreya Kulkarni for achieving success of his newly accepted post.
