Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Arun Hemachandran attended the Top German Brands 2025 Gala as Chief Guest on Thursday, 25 September, at Cinnamon Life – City of Dreams, alongside the German Ambassador, senior government officials, and representatives from over 300 German companies operating in Sri Lanka.
In his address, Hemachandran highlighted Sri Lanka’s dedication to fostering a transparent, stable, and competitive economy under the leadership of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake. He assured attendees that the government stands firmly with the international partners and businesses that continue to support the nation.
Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma, Secretary to the Ministry of Finance, was present as a special guest, underlining the significance of ongoing economic reforms in shaping Sri Lanka’s future.
Hemachandran also extended his gratitude to AHK Sri Lanka, Chief Delegate Mr. Martin Klose, and Ambassador Dr. Felix Neumann for their efforts in strengthening Sri Lanka–Germany relations.
The event underscored a shared vision for a future that is stronger, safer, and cleaner—where businesses thrive, people prosper, and partnerships grow.
